Although there is no evidence showing that IPL has negative effects on pregnant or breastfeeding women, to be safe we do not recommend at-home IPL treatment while pregnant or breastfeeding.

Is it safe to do IPL over freckles or moles?

No, we do not recommend performing IPL treatment over very dark freckles or moles. However, light freckles are typically fine. If you have an area you wish to treat that has dark freckles or moles, we recommend coloring over them with a white pencil.

Is it safe to do IPL over tattoos?

No, we do not recommend performing IPL treatment over tattoos as it could result in painful burns. However, going around tattoos to treat an area is fine.

Can I use RoseSkinCo IPL before or after tanning?

If you have recently tanned, we recommend waiting 2 weeks before using your handset. If you’re planning on tanning after IPL treatment, we recommend waiting 48 hours.
